Golfing Weekly Magazine - Memorial Tournament Cartoons

Regular readers will have seen our exclusive cartoon strip "Off the Cart Path" which is drawn for us by Roy Doty. It is normal for golf magazines to have a reporter or photographer at PGA Tour events. Here, we bring you a special report in cartoon format of what it was like to be at this year's Memorial Tournament, as seen through the eyes (and ears) of professional cartoonist Roy Doty.

As a long-time resident of Dublin, Ohio, Roy is accustomed to the swarms of cicada which descend on the area every 14 years. This year they decided to arrive just in time to play havoc with the Memorial Tournament. If you don't know what a cicada is, think locusts, millions of them and twice as noisy!
