His professional victories were achieved at the following
events:
PGA TOUR; 2003 HP Classic of New Orleans. 2004 Bank of
America Colonial.
Nationwide TOUR: 1997 NIKE TOUR Championship.
Victory at last week's Bank of America Colonial moved him up from 44th to
24th in the World Rankings, from 28th to 9th on the 2004 Money List ($1,948,266) and puts
him into the 9th of the ten automatic qualifying places for this year's Ryder Cup. He's
having a good year with 8 top-25s including 3 top-10s so far. |
| In his six years on Tour he has had 46 top-tens but only the two victories
and openly admitted, when interviewed after his Colonial win, that this has probably been
due to a lack of belief in himself. Maybe now that he has won for the second consecutive
year he will accept the idea that he is capable of winning and we'll see him pick up more
trophies in the future. |
