| Se Ri Pak of Korea picked up her 22nd career title on Sunday after coming
from four behind to beat joint overnight leader Lorena Ochoa (71) by 2 strokes with a 6
under par final round of 65. Cristie Kerr, who also shared the 54-hole lead could only
manage a 75 to take a share of 6th place with Mi-Hyun Kim. Juli Inkster put in a final
round challenge of 67 to take a share of the runner up spot alongside Ochoa.
Annika Sorenstam finished in a share of eighth place, seven shots behind the winner. |

After five top-ten finishes in 2004 including twice as
runner-up, Larry Nelson clinched his first Champions Tour title of the year at the Fedex
Kinko's classic on Sunday and moved up to second place on the Money List. His bogey-free
final round of 67 gave him a seven under par total of 209 for a one shot victory over
Bruce Lietzke who had to settle for the runner-up spot for the second week in a row. After
carding the days best round of 65 for a 211 total, Bob Gilder took a share of third place
with Morris Hatalsky and Wayne Levi. Current Money List leader, Gil Morgan tied for sixth
place, his eighth top-ten finish from ten starts this year. |
