| The PGA Tour heads back east to Louisiana for the HP Classic of New
Orleans. Last year, Steve Flesch sank a 30-foot putt to beat Bob Estes on the first
playoff hole for the first victory of his five-year PGA TOUR career. The European Tour
leaves Spain and visits Italy for the 61st Telecom Italia Open at the Castello di Tolcinasco Golf & Country Club in Milan. Ian
Poulter and Brian Davis head the English challenge but one to watch is Ricardo Gonzalez,
the in-form Argentinian.
The LPGA Tour is in Georgia for the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship hosted by Nancy
Lopez. Se Ri Pak will be defending her title against a strong field including Annika
Sorenstam who has won all three non-major events which she has entered so far this year.
The Champions Tour contests the Bruno's Memorial Classic
on the Founder's Course of the Greystone Golf & Country Club, in Hoover, Alabama. Last
year it was won by Tom Jenkins, the winner of the 2004 Blue Angels Classic a couple of
weeks ago.
