| Champions Tour - The Mastercard Classic |
| After receiving treatment on Saturday for high
blood pressure, sixty year old Ed Fiori went on to win the Mastercard Classic in a playoff
with Australia's Graham Marsh. It took 3 playoff holes to decide the outcome but in the
end par was good enough to take the title and the winner's check for $300,000, the largest
in Fiori's career. The win earns him a place in this year's US & British Seniors
Opens. |
